Additional Comments |
If you're looking for an easy class, don't take Dr. Endres. He's a really nice professor, but he expects you to try and do your best. It is a 300 level class after all. He has you do 3 research papers that often have to do with your major. They have to be 5-6 pages long and you have to pay close attention to grammar. A lot of time spent on grammar, punctuation, etc. There are 3 editing exams that help you out on this stuff. If you could probably predict your grade before turning in your paper, that's probably what you'll get. You can't just slap some words on a paper and pretend like you know what you're talking about. He's really smart and he knows if you're just trying to make it longer or if you're just blabbing about stuff. NO FINAL- we just do the papers and the last one he has you do a small presentation on in front of the class. Not to worry! It helps very much believe it or not. He's not boring at all. He always lets everyone give input on everything. He get's easier as the semester goes by. OVERALL- good class, I learned a lot. English is sort of my thing, but other students in the class that hate English made higher grades than I did... I definitely recommend him.
