Additional Comments |
Ernie, well Ernie is Ernie. There is no other teacher like him. He is very laid back and has a wonderful personality. But he does not teach. He divides the class in mini groups called jigsaw groups and you have to take a part of the info in the book and become "EXPERTS" on it in like 30 minutes and go back to your group and teach it to the rest of the groups. The class was fairly easy because I just study out of the book. Ernie would sometimes go over a topic that took 10 minutes and that was guaranteed to be on the test. Ernie talks alot about his daughter, granddaughter, yoga, and horses. He relates everything to this but it is very interesting. You have 3 critical performances and he does not grade them nor does he know anything about them. IF you do one the wrong way, you have to meet with a grad student to help you, not Ernie. He is fun but does not teach you a thing!
