If you are NOT a history major or don't feel like putting forth a strong effort, find another professor! This class is probably the most in depth class I will ever take. Dr.Abbott is a cool woman. She knows exactly what she's talking about. She likes it when you know what you're talking about during her lecture. For her tests, you will have to be very particular and not leave anything out b/c they are essay, and if you do leave something out, it's more than likely going to be a crucial thing. She is very understanding...she let me reschedule my last test b/c I felt overwhelmed by my other exams. That was GREAT! Bring a tape recorder for lecture and you will do great!
