Dr. Brown is very nice, and attendance is not required. But he gives pop quizzes so you can't miss too much. The pop quizzes are fixed so everyone gets an A. The class is not bad, neither are the notes. But the tests are extremely hard...and you may not recognize anything from the notes. Before each test including the final he tells you exactly what to study. Most everyone does not do well on the test but it doesn't matter because he grades on a huge curve. I did a very minimal amount of work in the class and got a C. But i probably could have gotten an A in a different class.
