Dr. Abbott is a very good teacher and quite entertaining. She lectures and uses video. There is some reading of primary documents required and a lot of notes. There are two major assignments; an analysis of a periodical and an annotated bibliography. Neither assignment is too much to handle. She hands out the one major essay for each test long before test time and gives and nice review sheet for you to study from. I really enjoyed having her as a teacher.
