Dr. York's class can be hard at times, but he makes it worth it. My class has alot of philosophy majors so they always try and makes things more complicated, but for the most part the class is enjoyable. Go to class, listen, and read the assignments and you will do well!

Dr York is an awesome professor. His class is very interesting. He tells you exactly what he expects on the test, and grades very fairly. I strongly recommend that if you are taking this class to take it with him.

Dr. York makes himself very availble to his students through e-mail or setting up an appointment. He's very knowledgeable when it comes to his field of teaching. He is very straightforward on what he wants on exams/essay questions/papers. It's impossible to fail this class or make a bad grade

I enjoy having Tripp York, P.h.D.! This course is a religious studies course and yes, religion is discussed. However, it is the foundations of religious belief, such as what defines the sacred or what are the arguments for or against the belief in God. I myself am an atheist and I would not discourage anyone from taking this just because it deals with religion. He picks many interesting topics and he is very engaging. The first exam is the only exam with any matching or definitions. The rest are all exam of which is chooses one question. You read a few books and write papers on them, one of which is the final. He will make you think and question religious thought or non-religious thought and he is respectful of all belief systems. Overall, he is a cool guy and he is also very funny and kind.
