took this class online and it was very easy.....IF you do the work. There are only 250 points in the class so you can't fool around. She gives you 10 extra credit points and the tests are somewhat tough. Study the study guides, post on the DBs and do good on your writing assignments (which are easy) and you will be fine.

Dr. Abrahamson did a really good job with this class. Starting out, I dreaded this class because I hate nursing homes, but the class was required. Almost at the end of the semester and I have decided that when I graduate I will be going into this field. You watch two videos in the class, and normally I wouldn't watch them, but in this class I watched and loved them! If you just try in this class, you will do good!

Professor doesn't respond to emails. Supposingly the exams are fill in the blank, and multiple choice. My first exam was all essays and about 5 fill in the blank, so you HAVE to know the material good. Tests have to be monitored and taken at the DELO center.

I took Dr. Abrahamson for both Long Term and Ambulatory. My ambulatory class was her first one at Western so she was still getting use to everything but she gives you a study guide for her tests that are essentially the test. Fill that out and the tests should be cake. She gives participation grades and small group projects so definetly attend class. Usually if you are in a tough spot or have done bad on a previous test she will do what she can to help you out. No final just a paper at the end of the term for both classes. She gives you freedom on your topic and doesn't grade it very hard. Overall both classes were interesting and easy to get A's without much effort.

New to WKU, i took her for HCA 340 and 345 seems to be a nice lady, overall grades are far doesnt have a final just a research paper over the course topics over the course of the term. tests are fairly easy mainly short answer need textbook most of the time because she teaches most of the time from it overall a great lady for a new professor
