Additional Comments |
Professor Slonecker has a unique style not found in many classes. The class is conducted more like a seminar than a lecture course. He emphasizes the development of critical thinking skills and the ability to better interact with people with whom you disagree.
He does demand a higher level of performance than many other classes a student may take. While the idea of open book test many seem easy, his test are not "easy." However, a student can work on an examination at least two weeks before it is due at home and talk with fell students about their answers during the examination.
Professor Slonecker, while demanding, is fair with the students. If a student requests additional help, Professor Slonecker does make every effort to accommodate the students.
