I am seriously math challenged. However, I earned an A in this class. In addition to hard work, I attribute my success to Professor Weydahl. He is an excellent teacher in my opinion. He explains concepts clearly, is patient and willing to go the extra mile to help his students. I felt comfortable asking questions as I new he would take the extra time to answer them. Generally, they were covered in class, but if necessary, he is willing to stay after class if he doesn't have to get to another one. I rarely missed a class, payed attention, took a lot of notes, did 98% of my homework and decent on most of the tests. It payed off big time. Finally, for those who may not be the greatest with attendance, no worries. As long as see you are doing your best, demonstrate this by doing well on the tests and completing your homework, you'll be fine.
