Additional Comments |
Professor Bowers is by far the best professor at UNLV. Being educated at Oxford and the great-grandstudent of J.R.R. Tolkien, he is wise, witty, and informative. I have taken professor Bowers three times before and he never lets me down. I not only enjoy the fairness of his grading style, but also his straight-forward teaching method, and punny-information packed lectures. I would enjoy listening to him lecture all day. Professor Bowers is a true teacher/mentor who truly enjoys his profession. His format is fair and easy to follow. If you come to class, read the assignments, and take the tests you almost guaranteed an A. He doesn't b.s. around with trying to trick you on exams like other profs at UNLV. I enjoy his classes the most, not only because he makes them so interesting, but I come out having learned so much. I would recommend taking prof. Bowers for ANY class. I know everytime I see him teaching, I sign up!
