Additional Comments |
Wow, this was unbelievably the most difficult course I've ever taken. Don't let its 100-level designation fool you--it is probably the most time-consuming and challenging of all 100-level classes. While I found Professor Dickey to be a nice guy and fairly understanding at times, his homework assignments and exams are ridiculous. The assignments are very difficult, especially if your programming background is limited (only 142). It doesn't really help that at least 20% of the students in the class are experienced programmers. And while the exams consist of multiple choice questions, they are tricky. I spent at least 30+ a week for this class. If you are planning to be a CSE major, this class may change your mind.
