Additional Comments |
Dr. Atiyah does not teach. He has a class full of angry students who routinely end up arguing with him or leave crying in the hall. He uses his own book. On tests he will mark things wrong, and students have to show him it was done exactly the same in his book. He is confused at times, completely unorthodox in his teaching, and wastes a tremendous amount of class time. Examples he gives are often wrong. Even currently employed teachers taking the class to become certified told him nobody teaches geometry like he does. They were frustrated like the rest of us. He did not teach us how to do proofs, yet he would give us tests with just two proofs to do on it! Typically all but four or five students would get zeros. Those who had 50% or 100% were typically the teachers in the class, but sometimes they had zeros. He is a terrible instructor. You will not learn geometry in his class. He ultimately gives out grades because he has no real basis to assess his students. Beware of him.
