Additional Comments |
The instructor for this course evidently changes periodically, however, I think that Ms. Hansen did an incredible job. The course feels VERY overwhelming at the beginning and periodically throughout. The key is to just remain relaxed, it's not as intense as most classes can be. There are about six multiple choice tests that are mandatory via the school and there are four projects which are moderately time consuming, particularly the group project as well as the presentation. There is no getting out of any of the projects. Studying the book or at least skimming through it (the headlines and a few paragraphs each) seemed to be more beneficial than just skipping out on all the information. With Ms. Huntington (Holly as she prefers) there is extra credit work available and it is worth investing in for that guaranteed A. I loved working with her and wish she taught in a few other areas. I HIGHLY recommend her as a teacher overall in whatever course you get her for.
As for the class, just try to stay on top of things. If you have the opportunity to get ahead, get a jump start on it because there are points in the class where you definately need a break. Good luck.
