Despite the grade I earned, I approve of this course. Pitts teaches at an appropriate level. Extra credit is available through small one-point quizzes available 2-3 times per week. Attendance is the only way to get this extra credit. They help up your grade but will not hurt it if you miss. Beware: My lab instructor, Dr. Rebecca Irwin, was a bore. She simply could not hold the attention of any student in the lab section. Try to select a different lab instructor.
