Ecology at MTSU was surprisingly the most difficult class i've ever taken. Lab consists of pages worth of calculus problems and 4-hour field studies conducted in the freezing rain and snow. He is extremely intolerant of misunderstandings and your grade is based on how much you visit his office for additional help. Also a semester long, self conducted project is required with a 10 page research paper plus graphs and extensive computer statistical analysis. His tests are essay and problem solving with only 50 minutes to write paragraphs on 7 essay questions each. It's a nightmare and will control your life for the semester. Take another professor during the summer semester.
