Additional Comments |
Dr. Wacholtz's class is very intimidating at first but he intends for it to be that way to prepare you for real life in the Music Business. He lets you grade your own tests and he also accepts a lot of answers that might not be 100% accurate. However, on the final, you're expected to get them right. (i.e. royality points, songwriter splits, etc.) There is an industry interview and 2 industry participations you must complete. They do not affect your grade though unless you fail to do them. The Music Business Handbook is a waste of money and the book he's written isn't mandatory but it's a good enforcer of what he says in class, and it has a lot of info that you will need in the future. Dr. Wacholtz also drops your lowest test grade, which can even include the final.
