Additional Comments |
Professor Tackett does not relate well with her students. She is locked into a tunnel vision and does not value anyone's ability for independent thought. She is disrespectful for many of her students. She ignores certain students, who raise their hands for help. She has her favorites and goes out of her way to help them. The college requires 15 hours of deaf community hours. However, certain students were required to do 30 or more hours at the last minute. She knew this would affect their grades negatively. She promised students that she would mail their final exams to them if we provided a stamp and our addresses. She never sent the final exams. Additionally, she does not return all of the students' work, in order to monitor one's progress. She rarely does what she says she is going to do. She does not follow her syllabus. She is arbitrary and inconsistent in her thought processes. Even deaf students dropped her class because they said, "...even though she knows sign language, she is not a good teacher!"
