Additional Comments |
If you are enthusiastic about art, Dr. Land is an excellent start. Of course, there are a lot of notes, it is a giant survey class, that's to be expected. Art history is dominantly memorizing who what where, but you miss the point if you don't add all this information into the greater historical significance. Land attempts to include this type of info. If you have a more specific interest in Italian Renaissance, I would highly recommend that class (he teaches it as well) and it tends to have fewer notecards because it is a more specific time period.
