Additional Comments |
Reed is not yet a professor but is teaching for Asmar, who co-wrote the confusing textbook for the course. She makes frequent mistakes in working class problems, and fails to follow up with correct solutions. Her last solution key to a practice exam was filled with numerous errors. Her last exam was confusing and did not cover what we had gone over in class. She does not seem to have mastery over the subject she is trying to teach. Also, the course work is business application problems. We have not worked one bioscience related problem yet. When class members suggested we might work problems related to the biosciences (since after all that is what the course is titled), Ms. Reed commented that she was already catering to the class, and was not going to change her plans. While she is a very pleasant person otherwise, her teaching skills are poor. She either doesn't realize how frustrating her methods are, or simply doesn't care. Don't waste your tuition with this instructor.
