Professor Phelps considered the essays I submitted useless and inaccurate when I have rewritten them several times. She marked up my essays with red ink so much that I could not identify what I had written. I know I have improved and I even had other english majors review my essays. They provided more feedback than she ever gave me. Which is what a professor is supposed to do "help the students."
