Additional Comments |
It is apparent that Dr. Trafton is well educated in his field of study. However, I found his stye was not teaching, but preaching. The lectures were biased to his views on religion, and therefore, so were his tests. Rarely did he question the text or present a neutral view of the material. His test were mostly memorization. In fact, there was no interpreting or analyzation that might conclude a student really understood the material. The tests were constructed in a way in which one could very easily confuse one book of the new testament with another. I was sorely disappointed in this course. I thought I would learn more: I hoped I would learn more. You could not pay me to take another class under Trafton. And in case you question my authority in criticizing Trafton--both my parents are teachers, and his class is responsible for only B in college. biased teachers=bad classes
