Additional Comments |
This was a great class. Dont let the fact that its a film class fool you, the exams are tough. Class is not mandatory but I would definitely recommend going. Class notes are given and they are crucial for the exam and she does not post them online. There are quite a few films shown in class too. When you sign up for this class you have to sign up for a class discussion section too. This is when you watch the full movies and you don't have to attend this part if you can find the movis on netflix or at blockbuster which is great. I found all but 2 movies on netflix so I never had to go. The reading is kind of a lot but you have to do it for the exams. You write 5 papers throughout the semester which are only about a page with a 4 page final paper. all the papers are over films you watch so they arent too hard. If you like different movies you'll like this class and the professor is super interesting.
